Such a great experience at Vela Spa. You can really tell the owner is focused on making customers feel welcome—they were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. My massage was exactly what I needed: calm, relaxing, and unhurried. Insider tip: I always find parking in front of Open Books about a block away.

I had a great experience at Vela Spa. Everyone was friendly and welcoming (there is new management), and the massage was very relaxing. I was also able to find parking right on the block, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I’d be happy to return.

Can’t wait to come back! I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue massage and walked out feeling incredible! Couldn’t recommend enough.

I have never felt so compelled to write a review. I just got out of a massage about a half hour ago and it was freaking AMAZING!! She absolutely beat my muscles into submission and I feel like a totally new person! This massage is not for the faint of heart, it was very high pressure but DAMN IT WORKS!! I was hunkered over like a 105 year old witch but sauntered out of there ready to dance! Liu / Ida is so sweet and friendly too. I almost cried cuz that shit hurt like hell sometimes but like she said "No pain, no gain." Plus the prices are very reasonable and I booked the same day. I am hooked! I love this place!
